Inclusive design & WCAG in 2026

Since the European Accessibility Act (EAA) took full effect in June 2025, digital accessibility is no longer a ‘nice-to-have’, it’s a legal requirement. But how do you move from legal compliance to actually building a better product?

In this roundtable, we will discuss the practical impact of the current WCAG landscape on your product and how to embed an inclusive design philosophy within your organization.

We will explore:

  • The 2026 Reality: How the EAA enforcement landscape has shifted product development priorities one year in.
  • Strategic accessibility: why "ticking the WCAG boxes" isn't enough to create a good user experience, and what to do instead.
  • Insight into the most common digital hurdles users with disabilities still face in 2026 and how to solve them proactively.

What you'll gain from this roundtable

  • Honest takes on what works and what fails: a candid look at the limitations of automated testing and the necessity of inclusive user research.
  • A chance to sharpen your own thinking: to help you position accessibility as a driver of innovation rather than a legal burden.
  • Peer exchange with other leaders navigating the same shifts in product and design.
