Design Sprints

In most organizations it rarely happens that there are too few ideas to improve or innovate a product. Usually the crux is more in what you have to choose to implement. How do you spend your budget and your scarce hours? Which ideas work not only on the drawing board, but also in practice? Do your customers want to spend money on it? How many? Design Sprints help you make well-founded choices.

In short

The design sprint is a proven method for validating ideas. Hike One has extensive experience with 100+ design sprints for its customers. We also know the do's and don'ts that are not in the manuals.

What is it?

In a design sprint we develop an idea for a product into a working prototype in five working days. We do this in a team, in a pressure cooker context, together with our customer's decision makers and stakeholders. The prototype - in which the idea is made tangible - is delivered on day four and tested with the users for whom it is intended.

This provides valuable insights into the actual behavior of the target group. And with that also a better insight into the chance of success of an idea.

Limit risks

The aim is to release budget for product improvement or innovation that has been validated. This allows you to identify the best opportunities and limit the risks at an early stage - before too many hours, money and energy have been invested.

What can we help with?

Hike One can assist you in many ways with a design sprint. We can facilitate a sprint. We can also add designers, prototypers or testers to your sprint team. And if necessary, we can also help with master classes and coaching.

It is best to meet with each other to determine what is needed and what suits. Please call or email to make an appointment.
