Last week we organised the first edition of the Power of Prototyping Meetup in Eindhoven. An instant success, we must say! We welcomed a nice and diverse crowd of designers, developers and business owners who at their turn got to enjoy three talks about prototyping as well as a drink and bite with fellow prototyping-enthusiasts.
Martijn Pillich from Hike One talked about how prototypes are really just an inexpensive means of obtaining an answer to a question or assumption, and how we tend to forget about this while we lose ourselves in the details.
Niels Stamhuis from Dent IoT told us about the challenges he faces in prototyping for IoT, where it is often difficult to convince stakeholders to go for a solution that is so intangible.
Addison Schultz and Guillermo Blanco from Framer closed the show with their vision on digital prototyping and the future of product design where the gap between design and development is non-existent. They totally blew the crowd away when they showed a design component with full responsive behaviour!
We want to thank the speakers and the visitors for making this first edition a success! If you want to stay in the loop for a second edition feel free to join our group on Meetup.
